JUDGMENT

1. Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

2. The application stands disposed of. O.M.P. (MISC.) 34/2024

3. This is a petition under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996[1], for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, presently in seisin of the dispute between the parties.

4. The mandate of the learned Arbitrator is due to expire on 30 September 2024. “the 1996 Act”, hereinafter O.M.P. (Misc.) 34/2024

5. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection.

6. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator shall stand extended by a period of four months from 30 September 2024.

7. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
