JUDGMENT

1. Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

2. The application stands disposed of. O.M.P.(MISC.) (COMM.) 750/2024

3. This is a petition under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996[1], for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, who was in seisin of the dispute between the parties.

4. The mandate of the learned Arbitrator expired on 11 September

2024. “the 1996 Act”, hereinafter O.M.P.(Misc.)(Comm.) 750/2024

5. Learned Counsel for the respondent has no objection.

6. Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Arbitrator shall stand extended by a period of one year from 11 September 2024.

7. The mandate of the learned arbitrator shall be treated as continuing since 11 September 2024.

8. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
