CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE MUKTA GUPTA
0s.07.2011 By this petition, the Petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he is suffering from number of ailments and he has to get operated. On 3l't May, 20II the case was listed for the Petitioner to take instructions as to the date fixed for Petitioner's surgery at the Apollo hospital. Today also no date has been given by the Petitioner.
A perusal of the documents show that the Petitioner was got treated by the jail authorities and was taken to the AIIMS hospital where he was followed up. Because of his illness he was last granted parole for a period of w.P.(cRL) 649/2011 page I of 2
2011:DHC:17970 dr4 \4 four weeks on three occasions in the year 2010 when he surrendered around
5th December,2010. However, during that period of parole he did not get himself operated but got himself reviewed from Apollo hospital. Since no date for surgery has been fixed, and the Petitioner has been planned for surgery and fuither the unexpired portion of the sentence of the Petitioner is only two and a half months, I find no reason to grant parole to the Petitioner at this stage.
Petition is dismissed.
