JUDGMENT
of the Apex court reported as Sarla Vermta Vs. DTC (2009) 6 SCC L2L; the age of the deceased was 20 years; the mother of the deceased was aged 3g jrears; learned counsel for the respondent No. 4 has fairly conceded. that the multiplier in terms of the judgment of the Apex court in sarla verma should be L5 and not L4. This is under the head of ,loss of dependency'. Applyrng the multiplier of r.5 the awarded amount is accordingly modified and instead of t4,53,600/-, it will now become t4,86,000/-. The other claims remain unmodified.
