By this petition, the Petitioner.seeks grant of parole on the ground that he has to re-establish ties and the look after his ailing mother.
On a notice being issued, a status report has been filed. As per the enquiry ccinducted, it was revealed that the mother of the Petitioner was about
80 years of age and due to her old age she often remained sick. However, no
' specific prescription of treatment has been given to show the illness she is suffering from. Also in view of the fact that the sentence of the Petitioner is going to be completed soon and oniy four months remain in completion of the sentence, I do not find it a fit case to grant parole to the Petitioner.
Petition is dismissed. Copy of this order be communicated to the
Petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
