JUSTICE V.K. SHALI ORDER % 26.07.2011

1. These are two bail applications in respect of FIR no.141/2011, u/S 307/498A/354/34 IPG registered by P.S. Maurya Enclave.

2. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that so far as Anjali Badlani is concerned, it is stated that she is a college going and an unmarried girl and there is no specific role attributed to her except that she is alleged to have lifted the complainant along with the other co-accused persons and threw 2011:DHC:7081 v-/ A the complainant on the bed, where upon the husband of the complainant is alleged to have tried to strangulate her with a 'Chunni' and then hang her from the ceiling. So far as Amit Badlani is concerned, the allegations are that he acted in furtherance of common intension along with the other family members in strangulating the complainant. The nature of allegations leveled against the accused persons are very grave and do not warrant the grant of anticipatory bail. However, keeping in view the fact that Anjali Badlani is a college going girl, therefore, she alone is extended the benefit of anticipatory bail in the event of her arrest on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety for like amount to the satisfaction of the lO/SHO. This shall be subject to the condition that she will not leave the National Capital Region of Delhi and shall co-operate with the investigating agency. She will also not threaten the witnesses or tamper with the evidence. So far as Amit Badlani is concerned, the bail application is rejected. V.K. SHALI.J JULY 26, 2011 RN
