01.08.2011 This is a petition for quashing of FIR No.142/2011 under Section
325/34 IPC registered at PS New Friends Colony on the complaint of
Respondent No.2.
The allegations as set out in the FIR are that the Petitioner No.1 had a quarrel with Respondent No.2 and Petitioner No.1 started abusing him. On
Respondent no.2 objecting to the same, the Petitioners beat him with bat and wickets on the leg and back.
The complainant/Respondent No.2 Sarfaraj is present in person and is
;·, i:;c 2011:DHC:11502 ''-_,' .~~ 2__ identified by his learned counsel and the Investigating Officer. He states that the parties have entered into a Compromise with the intervention of parents and elders in locality and in view thereof he does not want to pursue the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.
In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences of their own free will, volition and without any coercion and no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.
Consequently, FIR No.142/2011 under Section 325/34 IPC registered at PS New Friends Colony and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed.
Parties have signed this order sheet in .acknowledgment of their statements made before this Court.
The petition is disposed of. Order dasti.
