ORDER
1. This is a petition seeking the quashing of the FIR no.417/2007, ujs 498A/406/34 IPC registered by P.S. Janak Puri, in respect of which the trial is pending in the Court of Ms.Shivali Sharma, MM, Dwarka Courts.
2. After brief submissions, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition. However, it has been prayed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that since the petitioner is 70 years old, he may be granted permanent exemption.
3. The petitioner is free to file an application for grant of permanent exemption before the Trial Court, subject to his filing an undertaking that he will be duly represented before the Trial Court by an authorized counsel on all the dates. On such ! _-..!, ----C 2011:DHC:11597 2_ application being filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the necessary orders will be passed by the Trial Court in accordance with law.
4. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
