Counsel for the parties state that the matter in dispute has been settled between the parties. The original memorandum of settlement dated I4.5.2OIL produced by the parties is taken on record. The same is exhibited as Ex. C-1.
Mr. Tandon, counsel for the respondents states that in terms of thg said settlement the respondents/workmen have already received the settled amount of Rs.50,000/- each. Both the counsel state that now no more dispute of any nature whatsoever survives between the parties. Based on the said settlement, counsel for Lhe petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition.
The amount of Rs.l lacs was deposited by the petitioner pursuant to the directions given by this court. Since the amount of
Rs.1 lac has been separately paid by the petitioner in favour of the respondents, therefore the aforesaid amount of Rs.1 lac as lying
