Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
Application stands disposed of.
Bail Appln. 1111/2011
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
Perusal of the FIR reveals that petitioner has been named in the FIR as the person who threw some liquid on the complainant and his co- accused is claimed to have thrown a lit matchstick on her. As per the
MLC, the complainant has sustained 30-40% burn injury. In view of the specific allegation against the petitioner and considering the gravity of the offence and the facts that his custodial interrogation may be required for reaching at the truth of the matter, I do not deem it appropriate to release the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
Application is dismissed.
