Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide compromise deed dated 29th July, 2011, the matter has been

The petitioner has agreed to pay ~70,000/- to the respondent No.2 in lieu of the compromise.
Respondent No.2 Ms. Raminder Kaur D/o S. Ranjit Singh R/o
H.No.10023, Gali No.2 Multani Dhanda, Paharganj, New Delhi is personally present and submits that she has settled all the issues qua the FIR No.12/2010 registered on 25.01.2010 at PS GK-1 under Section 354/509 IPC against the petitioner. Further submits that she does not want to pursue the case further and if the present FIR is quashed she has no objection. For identification a copy of the passport of respondent No.2 is placed at page as
P1/D. The photograph and name in the passport and in the petition are same.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the settlement deed ~ 70,000/- has been paid to the respondent No.2 vide DD No.205584, dated 5.8.2011 drawn on ICICI Bank, Connaught Place, New Delhi in favour of Ms.Raminder Kaur. The same has been handed over in the Court to the respondent No.2, who has accepted the same without any protest.
Learned counsel for the State submits that the charge-sheet
CRL.M.C. 2580!2011 Page 2 of3 has already been filed. Charges are yet to be framed.
The Government machinery has been used, and since, time of the Court has also been consumed, therefore, I impose the costs of ~10,000/- to be paid by the petitioner in favour of the
Delhi High Court Library Fund, within 7 days, and the proof of the same be placed on record.
Keeping in view the settlement deed and the statement of respondent No.2, in the interest of justice, I quash the FIR
No.12/2010 registered on 25th january, 2010 at PS GK-1 under
Section 354/509 IPC.
Criminal M.C. No.2580/2011 is allowed in above terms.
