CORAM:
HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE MUKTA GUPTA

By this petition the Petitioner prays for a direction to the Respondent
No.3 not to harass the Petitioner unnecessarily. The Petitioner's grievance is that the police is harassing him. He states that he filed a civil suit when his daughter went missing against Abhishek, the Respondent No.4 herein and after that he has started rnaking false complaints against the Petitioner.
Briefly the facts are that the Petitioner's daughter Ms. Jyoti had filed a petition before this Court claiming protection from her parents. In the said petition being W.P.(CRL) I87l2OI1 Ms. Jyoti alleged that she had mar:ried to one Abhishek of her own free will contrary to the wishes of her farnily w.P.(cRL) 313/2011 page I of3
2011:DHC:18830 ut meinbers after converling her religion. when the w.P.(cRL) I87|20II caffre up for hearing before this Courl, this Court disposed of the writ petition directing the RespondenVstate to ensure the safety of Ms. Jyoti from her parents and relatives.
In a status report filed by the State it is stated that in compliance of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(CRL) 18712011 S.I. Praveen Kumar, of p.S. Mehrauli visited the house of the Petitioner informing hirn the order of this Court and also briefing them not to disturb the peaceful married life of their daughter. The beat and the division staff of the area were also briefed to keep constant watch and to be in touch with Ms. Jyoti so as to provide her protection. On 22"d Febnrary,20II Ms. Jyoti gave a complaint to SI Kailash while he was on patrolling duty stating that her parents are harassing her and she is getting frequent calls from her brother and sister threatening her. On the said complaint the Petitioner was contacted where he denied having any intehtion to harass or cause any injury to Ms. Jyoti. The Petitioner fuither assured that nothing adverse will be done against Ms. Jyoti frorn their side.
Thus, as per the status repoft SHO P.S. Mehrauli was abiding by the orders passed by this Court.
In view of the facts which have transpired, I find no case for
W.P.(CRL) s13/2011 g harassment of the petitioner and issuance of a writ to the Respondents is made out.
Petition is disPosed of. lM'f"rL
