By this petition the Petitioner seeks transfer of investigation in case
FIR No. Ill2009 under Section 302 IPC to CBI or Crime Branch or any other specialized agency. On a notice being issued a status report has been filed by the SHO P.S. Mahendra Park under whose supervision the matter is being investigated by

Hemant Kumar. As per the report the local
Police has investigated the matter at length and examined all the relatives and friends to rule out any possibility of enmity. They have also tried to find the motive for the murder. However, they have not received any success in any of these angles. w.P.(cRL) 1s9s/2010 poge I of 2

In view of the fact that local Police after extensive investigation has reached a dead-lock, it is in the interest ofjustice that the investigation of the abovementioned FIR is transferred to the Crime Branch Delhi Police.
DCP (North-West) is directed to transfer the investigation of the above-mentioned FIR forthwith to the DCP Crime Branch who will thereafter take action in accordance with law.
