1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide FIR No.102/2011, a case under Section 420 Indian Penal Code was registered against the petitioner on the complaint of respondent No.2 at P.S Ranjit Nagar, Delhi.

2. It is further submitted that vide settlement dated 22.07.2011, the matter has been compromised between the respondent No.2 2011:DHC:9832 and the petitioner for a total sum of T 2,25,000/-. It is further submitted that out of the total settled amount, the amount of t[1],00,000/- has already been paid to respondent No. 2. It is submitted by the petitioner, who is personally present in the court today that she has brought a Pay order of the remaining amount of U,25,000/- drawn on Axis Bank Limited, Sadar Bazar, Delhi to be paid to the respondent No. 2 in the court today. Respondent No. 2 is present in the court today. He is duly identified by 10/Inspector Surender Singh, and her counsel, Ms.Dipika Saxena, Advocate. Respondent No. 2 accepts the above Pay Order. He further submits that in view of the settlement arrived at between him and the petitioner, he does not want to pursue the case further and he has no objection if the aforesaid FIR is quashed. Learned APP for State submits that the investigation is going on in the above said FIR. In the interest of justice and in view of the submissions made by respondent No. 2, I quash the FIR No.102/12011, P.S. Ranjit Nagar and the proceedings emanating therefrom.

7. Since the Government Machinery has been misused and the precious time of the court has been consumed, I impose cost of 150,000/- to be paid by the petitioner Ms.Perdeep Kaur in favour of ) Superintendant, 'Nirmal Chaya', Jail Road, Hari Nagar, Delhi to be utilized for the well being of the destitute women. The costs shall be deposited within two weeks from today. Proof of the same also be placed on record. Cr[1]. M.C. 2973/2011 is allowed and disposed of on the above terms.
