By this petition the Petitioner seeks parole on the ground that his rnother is suffering frorn gall bladder stone and pain in the back and he has to look after her.
On a notice being issued, the nominal roll and the status report has been filed by the State. The Petitioner is undergoing sentence of life imprisonment for offences under Sections 3021307 IPC and 5 TADA (P) Act, 1987. As per the norninal roll the Petitioner was granted parole in the year 2000 however he jumped the same and was re-arrested on 8tl'November,2002. Further the jail conduct of the Petitioner is also not satisfactory. He has been found to be indulging in inflicting self injuries and also threatening other inmates.
In view of these facts, I do not find that the Petitioner will not abuse the concession of the parole granted to him. Further though the surgery of the rnother of the Petitioner is fixed for l2d' September, 2011, however, the Petitioner is having three brothers and four sister who can take care of the mother of the
Petitioner.
