CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE V.K. SHALI
ORDER o/o 15.09.2011
JUDGMENT

1. This is a joint petition filed by the petitioners who are six in number for quashing of FIR No.200/2009 u/S 498A/406 IPG registered by the P.S Jahangirpuri.

2. The petitioner no.l/Reshma is the wife and petitioner no.2/Vasudev is the husband. So far as the petitioner nos. 3 to 6 are concerned, they are close relations of petitioner no.2.

3. The ground for quashing of the FIR is that compromise has been arrived at between the petitioner no.l/wife and the petitioner no.2/husband and they have settled all their matrimonial differences and the petitioner no.l has joined her husband/respondent no.2 in her matrimonial home. 2011:DHC:12519

4. However, during the course of oral enquiry, the petitioner no.l who is present today in the Court and is duly identified by her counsel and the I.O as well, has stated^since she has been turned out by the petitioner nos. 2 to 6 from the matrimonial house afresh after the compromise was arrived at, therefore, she is not interested in quashing of the FIR and the consequent proceedings.

5. In the light of the statement made by the petitioner no.l today in the Court, I feel that it will not be appropriate to aliow the petition for quashing of the FIR and the consequent proceedings. Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed.
