26.09.20!L This is a petition for quashing of FIR No.332l2009 under section 498A/406/34 IPC registered with P.s. Geeta colony, Delhi in respect of which trial is pending before the learned
Metropolitan Magistrate, Karkardooma Courts. The case which has been set up in the petition is that the petitioner
No.1, Raju @ Dilshad and petitioner No. 7, Saira @ linat
Praveen have settled all their outstanding matrimonial disputes, as a consequence of which they have started living together.
ORDER
2. It is stated that there are four children from the wedlock. It is further stated that on account of the settlement of the matrimonial disputes, the petitioner No.7 is not interested in olo 1_. \. 2011:DHC:13076
3. continuing with the complaint against the petitioner No.1 on the basis of which FIR No.33212009 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC was registered with P.S. Geeta Colony, Delhi. The petitioners are present in Court and are duly identified by their counsel. Petitioner No.7 is also identified by the IO. Learned APP states that he has no objection if the FIR is quashed. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, I feel that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No.332/2OOg under Section 498A/406/34 IPC registered with P.s. Geeta Colony, Delhi and the consequent proceedings pending before the learned trial Court are quashed. A copy of this order be sent to the trial Court. ^ t*.
