2011:DHC:16396 1*- I'r Rs.15 lakhs to Respondent No. 2. In view of the settlement arrived at between the Petitioner and the Respondent No. 2, whose affidavit has been filed on rccord at page No. 6 of the petition and memo of settlement dated
10tr'October, 2011 at page 24 of the petition, Respondent No. 2 does not wanr ro pursue the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.
In view of the fact that the parlies have amicably resolved their differences of their own free will, volition and without any coercion and no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, rather the same would create fuither acrimony between them, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.
Consequently, FIR No. 4512009 under Sections 408 IPC registered at
PS Vasant Kunj, New Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed.
The Petitioner and the attomey of Respondent No. 2 have signed this order sheet in acknowledgrnent of their statements made before this Court.
