17.10.2011 We have heard the counsel for the petitioner and the counsel for the State.
We have also heard this matter in Chambers. There is no evidence of any marriage as of now between the petitioner's son Suraj and Jyoti. However, it is clear that the two of them have definite attraction towards each other. For the time being.
Jyoti is residing with her parents and her parents have assured this Court that till she is 18 years of age they will not get her married anywhere. On her turning 18, her marriage will be performed as per her wishes.
With these observations, this writ petition stands disposed of.
The Station House Officer of P.S. Anand Parbat is directed to ensure that no untoward incident takes place.
