04.0s.20L2 By these petitions, the Petitioners seek quashing of the FIR No. 22511986 under Section 420 read with Section294A IPC registered at PS Kotla Mubarkpur registered on the complaint of Dr. G.L. Bajaj.
Admittedly, NIr. Rajiv Bajaj is the only legal heirs of his father
Dr.G.L.Bajaj at whose instance the FIR calne to be registered. The parties have arnicablv settled the matter. In terms of the settlement. the Petitioners have
2012:DHC:7998 i t^-- tJ agreed to pay a total sum of Rs. Three Lakhs Fifty Thousand to the Rbspondent
Rajiv Bajaj as compensation which is accepted by Rajiv Bajaj.
Let the amount of Rs. Three Lakhs Fifty Thousand be paid to the
Respondent by the Petitioners within a period of one week by way of a demand draft.
In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences of their own free will and volition and Mr.Rajiv Bajaj has no objection to quashing of FIR, no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the FIR and the proceedings. Thus, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings emanating therefrorn.
Consequently, FIR No. 225/1986 under Section 420 read with Section
294A IPC registered at PS Kotla Mubarkpur and the proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed. f
The petitions are disposed of. Order dasti.

Present applications have been filed for rectification of a typographical error in the common order dated 4'h May, 2012.
Keeping in view the averments in the application, the order dated 4th May, 2012 shall be read as under:-
"By these petitions, the Petitioners seek quashing of the FIR No. 255/1986 under Section 420 read with
Section 294A IPC registered at PS Kotla Mubarlpur registered on the complaint of Dr. G'L. Baiaj.
Admittedly, Mr. Raiiv Baiaj is the only legal heirs of his father Dr.G.L.Bajai at whose instance the FIR came to be registered. The parties have amicably settled the matter. In terms of the settlement, the Petitioners have agreed to pay a total sum of Rs. Three Lakhs Fifty
