07.05.2012 By these two petitions, the Petitioners seeks quashing of the FIR Nos.
77/2012 under Sections 452/308/379/34 IPG and 78/2012 under Sections
452/308/34 IPG registered at P.S. Malviya Nagar.
The above two FIRs were registered against each other arising out of same incident in which both the parties sustained injuries. Both the parties are present in the Court with their respective counsels. They state that the matter has been amicably compromised between the parties and in view of the settlement arrived at, they do not want to pursue the abovementioned FIRs against each other.
2012:DHC:8129 In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolvedtheir differences of their own free will and volition and they have no objection to quashing of the
FIR, no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the FIR and the proceedings. Thus, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIRs and the proceedings emanating therefrom.
Consequently, FIR Nos. 77/2012 under Sections 452/308/379/34 IPG and
78/2012 under Sections 452/308/34 IPG both registered at P.S. Malviya Nagar andthe proceedings emanatingtherefromare hereby quashed.
The petitions are disposed of Order dasti.
