08.05.2012 This is a petition for quashing of FIR No. 85/2010, under Sections
354/323/506/34 IPG, registered at P.S. Timarpur on the ground that the parties have inter se compromised the matter. FIRwas registered onthe complaint ofthe respondent No. 2 Reshma.
Both the parties are present in person and are identified by their respective counsels. The respondent No. 2, who is the complainant and the petitioners state that they have compromised the matter and now there is no dispute left.
Respondent No. 2 Reshma states that she has compromised the matter with the petitioners out of her own free will and volition and without any pressure or coercion of any sort and now, she is left with no grievance against the petitioners
\ 2012:DHC:8087 r / and she has no objection ifthe present tlR is quashed. inView ofthe foregoing aid the fact that the parties have amicably resolved all tlieir disputes, no useful'pmpose would be served by continuing with the FIR.
Accordingly, FIR No. 85/2010, registered at P.S. Timarpur and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. Bail bonds .of the petitioners are cancellcd and their sureties are discharged.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
