1. After hearing arguments for some time, learned Senior Counsel for petitioner Company, on instructions, submits that at the moment, the petitioner would be satisfied, if some direction is given to Reserve Bank of India (respondent No.1 herein) to decide the representation dated 20.11.2024 in a time-bound manner. W.P.(C) 17225/2024 2

2. Learned counsel for respondent No.1-RBI assures that the above said representation shall be decided as expeditiously as possible.

3. Keeping in mind the overall facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by directing Reserve Bank of India to decide the above said request/representation made by the petitioner within six weeks from today.

4. We leave it to the wisdom and discretion of Reserve Bank of India, to give any personal hearing of the petitioner, but if they choose to do so, they would intimate the petitioner, well in advance, in this regard.

5. All the rights and contentions of the parties are left open.

6. Needless to say, if the petitioner is aggrieved by outcome of the above said representation, he would be at liberty to avail other action as permissible under law.

7. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
