1. Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against respondent for non-compliance of directions contained in order dated 29.10.2024 passed in W.P.(C) No. 15335/2024.

2. As per the directions contained therein, MCD was directed to take the decision on the representation of the petitioner within two weeks from date of such order and simultaneously, MCD was also asked to take the views of the concerned Resident Welfare Association (RWA) into account before reaching any final decision in this regard.

3. Learned counsel for MCD appears on advance notice and submits that CONT.CAS(C) 2018/2024 2 the MCD is already seized of the matter and the matter has got delayed because of the fact that they are required to seek response of the concerned RWA before taking final decision in the matter.

4. It is also informed that RWA is seeking some inputs from DCP (Traffic) and the matter is getting delayed because response from DCP (Traffic) has not been received by RWA.

5. Learned counsel for MCD, on instructions, submits that the decision shall, however, be taken within six weeks from today.

6. Such statement is taken on record.

7. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
