JUDGMENT
1. The present Petition inter alia has been filed seeking the following prayers: “i). to issue writ of mandamus or any writ or proper order or directions to declare void or to set aside the alleged Rules framed by the Respondents which is against the Advocate Act 1961 and the Part III of the Constitution of India and the principal of natural Justice. ii). To issue a direction to the procedure adopted by the Respondents to conduct the election declare void. iii). To pass the direction against the Respondents to provide all and equal benefits of the bar i.e Seat in court complex etc to the petitioner as they have provide to the other members of the bar. W.P.(C) 6169/2013 iv). To declare the rules framed by the respondents null and void which curtail the legal rights/constitutional rights and cancel the membership of the petitioner. v). to pass such other order or orders that may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. At the outset, the Petitioner who appears in person submits that he restricts his prayers in the present Petition to the fact that his membership to the Shahdara Bar Association be restored.
3. Mr. Raman Sharma, Secretary of the Shahdara Bar Association is physically present in Court alongwith his Counsel.
4. It is submitted by Mr. Sharma that provided that the payment of subscription dues is made by the Petitioner within two weeks, the membership of the Petitioner shall be restored with the Shahdara Bar Association. The statement of Mr. Sharma is taken on record.
5. Given the statement of Mr. Sharma, the Petitioner submits that nothing further survives in the present Petition.
6. The Petition is accordingly disposed of.
