2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties to the lis and also perused the compromise petition filed by the appellant and signed by the respondents.

In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, we are of the opinion that nothing survives in this appeal for our consideration and decision and therefore, the appeal is disposed of in terms of the Page 2 compromise petition.: 2: The compromise petition shall form a part of the decree.
