JUDGMENT
1. Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 319/2024 of PS Malviya Nagar for offence under Section 498A/34 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.
2. Learned APP for State assisted by IO/ASI Harendra Singh accepts notice and submits that State has no objection to this petition. Date: 2026.07.22 19:16:41 +05'30' CRL.M.C. 5071/2026 pages
3. The respondent no.2, present in court today and identified by IO/ASI Harendra Singh, also accepts notice.
4. I have spoken with respondent no.2 in Hindi and it is stated by her that she has compromised all disputes with the petitioners. It is stated by respondent no.2 that for past three years, she is living with the petitioners happily and has no complaint against any of them. It is stated by her that she has one son and one daughter, who also are living with her and the petitioners as a happy family. Under these circumstances, respondent no.2 submits that she does not wish to continue prosecution of petitioners.
5. Having spoken with respondent no.2, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push the parties through a full dress trial.
6. Therefore, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 319/2024 of PS Malviya Nagar for offence under Section 498A/34 IPC as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. Accompanying application also stands disposed of.
