JUDGMENT
1. Allowed, subject to all just exceptions. CM APPL.31618/2026 (Exemption)
2. Application stands disposed of.
3. The present petition alleges wilful disobedience of the order dated 20.02.2026, passed in W.P.(C) 2457/2026. The same reads as under: “
3. Heard. W.P.(C) 2457/2026
4. The present writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the representation of petitioner for re-export pending with the respondent be decided expeditiously and, in any case, within a period of eight weeks from today.
5. In case, no representation has been preferred by the petitioner, the present writ petition, itself, be treated as representation.
6. Needless to clarify, the merits of the matter are not appreciated.”
4. Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice submits that a hearing has been scheduled on 18.05.2026 at 10.00 AM.
5. It is submitted that after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the representation of the petitioner shall be disposed of by way of a speaking order. Let the same be passed within a period of four weeks from the conclusion of the hearing.
6. It is assured and undertaken that the representation of the petitioner shall be decided with an open mind, taking into account all the aspects highlighted by the petitioner in W.P.(C) 2457/2026.
7. The concerned officer who is to accord the hearing to the petitioner shall facilitate the petitioner’s entry into the airportpremises for the said purpose.
8. The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
