JUDGMENT
1. The limited prayer in the present petition is to request the learned Trial Court to expedite the disposal of the ongoing Criminal Complaint bearing No.3001/2016 titled Sri Narain Raj Kumar vs. Vishnu Kumar Sureka in a time-bound manner.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner/complainant submits that the complaint in question was filed way back in the year 2016 and charges were framed only on 18.03.2025.
3. Learned counsel for respondent No.2/accused appears on advance notice and submits that he has already challenged the abovesaid order on charge and his petition is pending adjudication before learned Coordinate Bench.
4. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that CRL.M.C. 3983/2026 2 he would be satisfied if the learned Trial Court keeps in mind the earlier directions given by this Court on 07.12.2023 while disposing of CRL.M.C. 136/2022. It is reiterated that the petitioner is cancer survivor and is suffering from serious ailments related to liver.
5. Keeping in mind the overall facts of the case, albeit, without giving any observation over merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with request to learned Trial Court to make best endeavour to dispose of the abovesaid complaint as expeditiously as possible.
6. The present petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms.
7. Pending application also stands disposed of.
