Narendra Singh Nirwan v. State of NCT of Delhi & Ors.

1. Petitioner seeks direction to respondent to ensure his protection of life and liberty and to restrain them from illegally harassing and threatening him in any manner, whatsoever.

2. When asked, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner had received some threatening calls on his mobile.

3. A careful perusal of the present petition would indicate that the petitioner has neither revealed his own mobile number nor has he provided the numbers from which such calls, as alleged, had originated.

4. Secondly and more importantly when asked, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, at the moment he is residing somewhere in Lajpat Nagar. His such address of Delhi has also not been mentioned in the petition and as per the Memo of parties, he is stated to be resident of Jhotwada, Jaipur, W.P.(CRL) 1638/2026 2 Rajasthan.

5. Apparently, the present petition is lacking in material particulars and, therefore, unless, the petitioner comes up with relevant details, this Court cannot come to his rescue.

6. During course of the arguments, it was also proposed to the learned counsel for the petitioner to ask the petitioner to approach the nearest Police Station, for reporting the matter and she submitted that she would advise her client to approach P.S. Vasant Kunj, South today itself and would contact the concerned SHO.

7. If petitioner approaches the concerned SHO, he would understand his grievances and would then be at liberty to take appropriate further steps, in accordance with law.

8. SI Preeti is present from the abovesaid Police Station and assures that requisite action, as per law, would be taken.

9. The present petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms.

10. Pending application also stand disposed of.
