JUDGMENT
(ORAL)

1. Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 411/2024 of PS Welcome for offence under Section 498A/406/506/34 IPC and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

2. Learned APP for the State accepts notice and submits that State has no objection to this petition. st=Delhi, CRL. M.C. 2683/2026 pages

3. Respondent no. 2 identified by IO/SI Vikram Singh also accepts notice.

4. Keeping in mind the nature of dispute, I have spoken with respondent no. 2 and she submits that they have settled all their matrimonial disputes and now they are living together happily since 01.09.2024. No issue was born from their wedlock. Respondent no. 2 specifically states that she does not wish to pursue prosecution of petitioner.

5. Having spoken with respondent no. 2, I am satisfied that it would in the interest of justice not to push the parties through a full dress trial.

6. Therefore, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 411/2024 of PS Welcome for offence under Section 498A/406/506/34 IPC and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed.
