JUDGMENT
1. The petition seeks to challenge the order dated 21.04.2025 passed by the Jawahar Lal University imposing minor punishment of withholding three increments and to attend the workshops on women safety at workplace/public institutions on the recommendation of the Internal Complaint Committee under the provisions of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (hereinafter ‘the Act of 2013’).

2. The Section 18 of the Act of 2013 provides the appeal mechanism. The petitioner seems to have filed an application; however, there is no formal appeal before the Appellate Authority.
3. The Court, therefore, deems it appropriate to dispose of the petition with liberty to the petitioner to prefer a disciplinary appeal under Section 18 of the Act of 2018.
4. Let the appeal be preferred within a period of 15 days from today. If the petitioner does so, the appeal shall not be dismissed on the ground of limitation. Petitioner shall be at liberty to require the respondents to supply the entire material relied upon against the petitioner, if the same is necessary in the interest of justice.
5. With the aforesaid, the petition, along with pending applications, stands disposed of.
