JUDGMENT

2. After part arguments, at request of both sides, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner shall be taken in custody of an appropriate number of guards to Garh Ganga, Bulandshahr (as requested by petitioner) for immersion of ashes of his mother on 18.02.2026; and after (ORAL)

1. The petitioner seeks mandamus to the respondent to permit first spell of furlough, which has already been granted vide order dated 24.12.2025, so that petitioner may perform last rites of his mother and attend tervi on 20.02.2026. W.P.(CRL) 543/2026 pages immersion of ashes, the petitioner shall be immediately brought back to the jail; and during the travel from Delhi to Garh Ganga, the petitioner shall be taken in a jail van with guards and with no relative or friend in the same van.

3. Copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendent concerned immediately. Pending application also stands disposed of.
