Code of Criminal Procedure petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 495/2004 reg;stered against them under Section 3871506134 of IPC at Police Station
Kalkaji, New Delhi.
Both the Petitioners are present in court. Respondent No. 2
Dr.Sudhir Sethi is represented through his father Mr. J.C. Sethi, Advocate.
Counsel appearing for the parties state that both the parties have amicably settled all their disputes in terms of the settlement arrived at between them before the court of Mr. Deepak Wason, Metropolitan Magistrate. Learned counsel for the parties also submit that the settlement arrived at between the parties is duly reflected in the order dated 4'h April 2013 passed by the said

Leamed counsel for the parties also submit that the Respondent no.2 has filed three cases before this court being crl. M.c. No. 284412008, 385212009 and 351212010. Mr. Seth, counsel appearing for Respondent
No.2 states that he does not press the Cr.M.C. No. 351212010 in the light of the aforesaid settlement arrived at between the parties.
Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 further submits that so far as
Crl. M.C. No. 284412008 and 385212009 are concerned, the FIR No. lll5/2007 registered under Sections 325134 of IPC in the said two cases has already been compounded vide order dated 1" May 2013 passed by learned
Metropolitan Magistrate qua Dr. Sudhir Sethi. Learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 submits that with the compounding of the said offence, these two petitions have become infructuous.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties.
Learned counsel for the parties submit that both the parties have settled all their disputes and in terms of the said settlement both the petitioners have tendered unqualified apology without going into the merits of the allegations levelled by the parties against each other. Leamed counsel for the parties also submit that both the parties have also agreed that they
\ <\ a will maintain peace between them.
Taking into consideration the said settlement arrived at between the parties, this court is of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served in continuing the proceedings arising out of the FIR No. 49512004 registered under Section 3871506134 of IPC at Police Station Kalkaji, New Delhi qua the Petitioners and the said proceedings are therefore quashed. So far as
Crl.M.C. No. l97ll20l3 and 284412008 are concerned, as the FIR No. llt5l07 registered under Section 325134 of IPC has already been conpounded qua Dr. Sudhir Sethi by the order dated I't May 2013 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, the same have become infructuous and are consequently dismissed. The Cr.M.C. No. 351212010 is also dismissed as not being pressed.
With the aforesaid observations all the above captioned four petitions are disposed of.
