24.06.2013 Priyanka Jain, petitionerNo.l and DevenberKumar, petitionerNo.2 have got married as per their own free will and wishes.
Mr. O.P.Saxena, counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioners state that the petitioners apprehend grave threat to their lives and liberty at the hands of the family of petitioner No.l. The petitioners accordingly pray for police protection. Ms. Priyanlca Kapoor, Advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits that the police shall provide adequateprotection to the petitioners.
In the circumstances, SHO, Police Station-Farsh Bazar, Delhi is directed to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners after assessing the threat perceptions. The petitioners shall also be provided with a telephone number of a police officer who they can contactin the event of any threat or apprehension.
