24.06.2013 Rajender Singh, petitioner No.l and Suman, petitioner No.2 present in court have got married according to their own wishes.
Counsel for the petitioners states that the parents as well as the uncle of petitioner No.2 are against theirrelationship andthat thereis an apprehension of threat andphysical violence towards the petitioners. Thepetitioners accordingly pray for police protection. Ms. PriyankaKapoor, Advocate appearing on behalf of the State submits that the police shall provide adequate protection to the petitioners.
In the circumstances, SHO, Police Station- South Campus, New Delhi is directed to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners after assessing the threat perceptions. The petitioners shall also be provided with a telephone number of a police officer who they can contact in the event of any threat or

With theabove directions thepetition is disposed of.
