The petitioner has filed this writ petition inter alia seeking a direction to the respondent no. 1 to reassess the answer sheets and the marks awarded to the petitioner. It is pointed by Mr. Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 1 that there is no provision to reassess the answer sheets and at best it can be verified whether each answer has been marked and the total has been correctly arrived at. It is also pointed out by Mr
Kumar that the petitioner has not applied for re-verification of the marks.
Be that as it may. The petitioner now seeks to withdraw the petition in order to challenge the vires of the regulations which permit only re-verification and not revaluation. A similar writ petition no. 3986/2013 is also pending before this Court which is listed on 02.07.2013. The petitioner would be at liberty to apply for a photocopy of the answer sheet as per rules. In the event this application is made, the respondent shall furnish a

02.07.2013.
With these directions, the petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to file an appropriate writ petition challenging the vires of the regulations.
