04.09.2013 This is a petition under Section 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.0 for grant of parole for a period of 3 months for arranging finance to meet the emergent situation in his family; to look after his old aged mother and son and to reconnect social ties with his family and society.
In the status report submitted by the State it is reported that the mother of the petitioner is aged about 70 years. She is suffering from old age ailments but did not provide any documents in this regard.
Son of the petitioner is studying in 3' Class in government school. It
2013:DHC:8107 LI was further reported that as per the report of P.S. Punjabi Bagh, the petitioner is an active bad character of P.S. Punjabi Bagh, Delhi and was found to be involved in 13 criminal cases, details of which are given in the status report.
Keeping in view the antecedents of the petitioner, who as per the status report was involved in 13 criminal cases and has been convicted in 6 cases, it is not desirable to release him on parole, as such, the writ petition is dismissed.
