However, the Registry has placed before us the file of an identical matter being W.P.(C) No.4934 of 2008, which was disposed of vide order dated 13th April, 2010. The ~aid order reads as under:
"Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the
Notification dated 02.09.2009 making a second amendment to the
Standards of Weights and Measures (Packages Commodities) Rule, 1977, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive for consideration and that the writ petition be disposed ofas satisfied.
The petition and the application are accordingly disposed of"
Jn view of the aforesaid order, we arc of the opinion that the present
