/o 06.11.2013 This appeal stands settled. The appellant shall pay a lump sum amount of ~40 lacs to the respondents in full and final settlement of all claims that the respondent may have against the appellant. A sum of ~25 lacs was deposited with the Registrar of this Court and the same has already been released to the respondent. Therefore, the appellant is required to pay an amount of~15 lacs to the respondent. The said sum of~l5 lacs shall be paid by the appellant to the respondent within eight weeks from today.
This order has been passed in the presence of the learned counsel for the parties as also in the presence ofMr A. V. Mathew (who is the Secretary of the appellant society) as also Mr Daljit Singh (who is the former
Secretary) and Mr R. S. Bhumbi (who is the Joint Secretary of the appellant society). The respondent Mr Manohar Singh is also present in the Court.
