By the present petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR
No.14/2009 registered under Sections 406/420/120-B IPG at Police Station
Economic Offence Wing, West.
Counsel for parties submit that parties have arrived at an amicable settlement before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts. A copy of the
Settlement Agreement dated 9.10.2013 has been placed on record.
Respondent no.2, complainant, is present in Court along with her counsel and she is duly identified by the 1.0., who is present in Court.
Respondent no.2 submits that she has arrived at an amicable settlement with the petitioner and, thus, she does not wish to press the FIR and the proceedings emanating therefrom. In terms of the settlement, the petitioner has handed over a Cheque bearing no.000408, drawn on HDFC
2013:DHC:7549 / 7^ Bank dated 12.11.2013, in the sunn of Rs.1.00 lal<h to respondent no.2 in
Court.
Heard counsel for the parties. Having regard to the submissions made and taking into consideration that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement and also signed the Settlement Agreement dated
9.10.2013, present petition is allowed. FIR No.14/2009 registered under
Sections 406/420/120-B IPG at Police Station EOW, West, and the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition stands disposed of.
