25.11.2013 Petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.107/2013 PS Patel Nagar registered under Sections 448/506/120B IPC.
Notice. Counsel for the State and respondent No.2 who is represented by counsel accept notce. Respondent No.2 is also identified by the tO present in Court. Respondent No.2 submits that she has entered into an amicable settlement with the petitioners and does not wish to press the FIR in question and proceedings arising therefrom. Counsel for
4 the petitioners submits that property bearing No.22/3 East Patel Nagar, Delhi was purchased by respondent No.2 from petitioners No.1 and 2.
However, on account of some misunderstanding the present dispute which is a private dispute between the parties had arisen. Counsel further submits that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement with each other and they wish to live in peace and harmony and bury the past.
Counsel for the State submits that charge-sheet is yet to be filed.
Heard learned counsel for the parties. In view of the stand taken hereinabove by the counsel for the parties, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the FIR alive. The present petition is allowed. FIR
2013:DHC:7531 No.107/2013 Ps Patel Nagar registered under Sections 448/506/120B IPC and all proceedings arising therefrom stand quashed subject to the petitioners paying Rs.15,000/- (Rs.5,000/- each) to the Delhi High Court
Legal Services Committee as costs.
