21.11.2013 In this petition, quashing of FIR No. 253/2001, under Sections
498A/406/34 of the IPG, registered at police station Jama Masjid, Delhi is sought on the basis of Compromise Deed of 1®' March, 2004 (Annexure
P-2). Efforts to obtain the presence of second respondent/complainant have proved futile. The status report has been placed on record by the respondent-State disclosing that respondent No.2/complainant is not traceable and her mother- -Mehrunisha and her brother—Mohd. Naeem have disclosed that herpresentwhereabouts are not in their knowledge, as she has married anotherman withouttheir knowledge.
Since the matter is pending before the trial court at the stage of recording of evidence, therefore, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition with direction to the trial court to obtain presence of second

With aforesaid directions, this petition and application are disposed of
