Petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.272/2013 PS Model Town registered under Sections 66/66A/67 Information and Technology Act and proceedings emanating therefrom.
Notice was issued in this case on the last date of hearing.
Complainant is present in Court today and is identified by Insp.Jagminder
Singh, PS Model Town who is present in Court on behalf of the 10. She submits that she has entered into an amicable settlement with the petitioner. She does not wish to press the FIR and proceedings emanating therefrom. Counsel for the parties submit that the parties are immediate neighbours. FIR was alleged against the petitioner who is a minor. The parties have signed a memorandum of understanding, copy of which has been placed on record; parties identify their signatures appended thereon.
Having regard to the submissions made, the facts of this case and as also the memorandum of understanding, FIR and all the proceedings emanating therefrom, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with this petition. The petition is disposed of quashing FIR No.272/2013 PS
Model Town registered under Sections 66/66A/67 Information and
Technology Act and all proceedings relating thereto, subject to the petitioner depositing Rs.5,000/- as costs with the Juvenile Justice Board.

Justice Board. The proof of payment of costs shall be furnished to the 10.
