ORDER
1. Vide order dated 07.10.2013, instant appeals were referred to the Lok Adalat for settlement. Vide order dated 23.11.2013, settlement has been arrived at between the parties as under: "The matter has been settled between the parties. The appellants and respondent no. 2 have agreed to pay a total sum of Rs.1.20 Lakhs to the respondent no. 1 in both the appeals. A sum of Rs.50,000/- stands deposited before the Court which the respondent no. 1 would be at liberty to withdraw. The appellants have paid a 2013:DHC:8492 sum ofRs.20,000/-to therespondent no. 1 in both the appeals today before the Lok Adalat. Learned counsel for the appellants states that the balance amount of Rs.20,000/- which is due in both the appeals will bepaid to the respondent no. 1on 3"^ December, 2013 when the matter is listed before the Court. Learned counselfor the respondent no. 2 states that the amount of Rs. 15,000/- in each of the appeals which the respondent no. 2 has topay in terms ofthesettlement will bepaid to the respondent no. 1 on 3'^December, 2013 in cash. "
2. Ld. Counsel appearing on behalf of the appellants has brought Rs.20,000/-, which has been handed over to the counsel for the respondent no. 1/claimant. Ld. Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 2 has brought Rs.30,000/- and the same has also been handed over to the counsel appearing on behalfof respondent no. 1/claimant.
3. Registry is directed to release the statutory amount in favour of the /Q) respondent no. 1/ claimant in view ofthe order dated 23.1ll2013 passed by the Lok Adalat.
4. Accordingly, present appeals are disposed of as settled.
