After some hearing, the learned counsel for the parties sought instructions. It was agreed that the marriage between the appellant and the respondent would be dissolved by a mutual consent by a decree of divorce under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act. The terms of the agreement are as follows:-
(a) The appellant would pay to the respondent Iwife a total amount of
Rs.9 lacs. The respondent has agreed to accept this amount in full.and

• final settlement of her past and future claims towards maintenance and permanent alimony.
(b)The payment of the said amount would be as indicated in the undertaking recorded in the Court i.e. one half of the amount would be paid on the date of recording of the first motion and the other half of the amount i.e. RsA.5 lacs on the date of recording of the second motion by the competent Court under Section 13B of the Hindu
Marriage Act.
(c) First motion under section 13B shall be recorded on or before 31st March, 2014. Likewise, the second motion shall be recorded immediately after the expiry of six months i.e. latest by 15.7.2014.
(d)The parties, especially the appellant shall be bound by the undertaking recorded by this Court in the course of proceedings today. The undertakings ofthe parties are placed on the file separately.
The appeal is disposed of in the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
