1. The present appeal has been filed by the appellant/Insurance Company assailing the impugned award dated 17.10.2013, whereby the learned Tribunal has granted compensation for a sum of Rs.22,783/- with interest at the rate of 7.5% per annum from the date of filing of DAR, i.e., 27.09.2011 till realization in favour of the respondent No.1/claimant. 2014:DHC:36 MAC.A.8/2014

2. Since the similar issues have been raised by the appellant/Insurance Company in another connected appeal bearing MAC. APP. No. 1/2014, wherein notice has been issued, therefore, this Court keeping in mind the quantum of the compensation awarded is not even inclined to issue notice in this appeal. Hence, the same is dismissed.

3. However, I hereby make it clear that dismissal of the present appeal will have no bearing on the issues raised in the connected appeal noted above.

4. Statutory amount shall be released in favour of the appellant/Insurance Company. CM No.39/2014 (for stay) With the dismissal of the appeal itself, this application has become infructuous. The same is dismissed accordingly.
