JUDGMENT

1. This writ petition seeks issuance of certiorari, quashing and setting aside the order dated 5 August 2024.

C. HARI SHANKAR, J.

2. The order dated 5 August 2024 merely constitutes a Board of Inquiry, and calls upon the officer to participate in the Board of Inquiry to be present. The Board of Inquiry has been apparently constituted in order to examine certain allegations against the petitioner.

3. In our view, this writ petition is pre-mature as there cannot be W.P.(C) 3775/2025 Page 2 any interdiction on the conducting of the Board of Inquiry.

4. Moreover, Ms. Iram Majid submits that the Board of Inquiry has been concluded on 12 February 2025 and that action thereafter would proceed in accordance with law.

5. No more can be sought by the petitioner at this stage.

6. Accordingly, we record the aforesaid submissions of Ms. Majid and dispose of this writ petition.

7. Needless to say, if the petitioner is aggrieved by any action which may be taken against him, his right in this regard would remain reserve in accordance with law.

C. HARI SHANKAR, J.
