1. Pursuant to order dated 09.10.2014, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that the awarded compensation to the tune of Rs.9,88,936/- for 1/6th share of Khasra No.39/14/2 (2-0), 17 (4-16) and 24 (4-14), having total area of 11 Bighas and 10 Biswas will be remitted in the court of Additional District Judge under Sections 30- 31 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that as per Section 34 of the Act, the respondent is liable to pay compensation alongwith interest in favour of the petitioners. 2014:DHC:6240 W.P. (C) 3255/2013

3. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that if the interest amount is not added in the aforesaid amount, the same shall be deposited by the respondent within four weeks before the Additional District Judge.

4. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the relief sought for in this petition is satisfied.

5. Accordingly, the present petition is allowed on above terms.

6. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties.
