JUDGMENT
1. Vide order dated 18.9.2014, the parties were referred to the learned Mediator, to be appointed by the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre, for exploring the possibility of arriving at settlement. Pursuant thereto, a Settlement Agreement dated 17.12.2014, has been placed on record. 2014:DHC:7224
2. Counsels for the parties jointly state that the terms and conditions of the settlement are set out in paras (a) to (l) of the aforesaid Settlement Agreement, whereunder the respondents No.2 to 4 have agreed to pay a sum of `13,71,000/- to the petitioner within one week from the date of acceptance of the VRS application that would be submitted by him.
3. Counsel for the petitioner states that the VRS application was submitted by the petitioner only yesterday.
4. Counsel for the respondents No.2 to 4 assures the Court that the said application shall be processed expeditiously and the acceptance conveyed within one week from today, whereafter the agreed amount shall be released in favour of the petitioner and all the remaining formalities as recorded in the Settlement Agreement shall be completed by the end of December, 2014.
5. The Settlement Agreement dated 17.12.2014 is taken on record. The parties shall remain bound by the terms and conditions thereof. The writ petitions are disposed of in terms of the aforesaid Settlement Agreement, while leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
6. The Court places on record its appreciation for the sincere efforts made by the learned Mediator for enabling the parties to negotiate an amicable settlement. A copy of this order shall be forwarded to the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. (HIMA KOHLI) DECEMBER 18, 2014 JUDGE sk
